1. Purpose of this Medical Disclaimer
This Medical Disclaimer explains the limits of Anchor and the responsibilities that apply when you use Anchor for mental health tracking, self-reflection, journalling, pattern-identification, AI-assisted insights, reports, exports, Storm Mode tools, support contact features, or related services.
This Disclaimer should be read together with the Anchor Terms and Conditions of Use and the Anchor Privacy Policy. If there is any inconsistency between this Medical Disclaimer and general product wording elsewhere, this Medical Disclaimer applies to the extent it concerns medical, mental health, safety, crisis, clinical, or emergency matters.
2. Anchor is not a medical or clinical service
Anchor is not a health practitioner, doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, counsellor, therapist, pharmacist, clinic, hospital, crisis line, suicide prevention service, emergency service, or treatment provider.
Using Anchor does not create a doctor-patient relationship, therapist-client relationship, counsellor-client relationship, clinical relationship, duty of care relationship, emergency response relationship, or professional advisory relationship between you and Auralis Systems.
Anchor does not provide medical advice, clinical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, counselling, psychiatric care, psychological care, medication advice, crisis intervention, emergency support, suicide prevention response, or clinical monitoring.
Anchor is intended to support personal awareness and decision-making. It is not intended to replace professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, crisis, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
3. No crisis or emergency response
Anchor must not be used as your source of help in an emergency, crisis, or situation where you or someone else may be at risk of harm.
If you are in immediate danger, feel unable to keep yourself or someone else safe, are experiencing a mental health crisis, are thinking about suicide, are at risk of self-harm, or need urgent help, do not wait for Anchor, do not rely on Anchor, and do not use Anchor as your crisis response tool.

4. Anchor is not monitored in real time
Entries, check-ins, mood logs, Storm Mode entries, trigger logs, support contact entries, journal-style entries, medication entries, reports, exports, prompts, and AI-generated outputs are not reviewed in real time by clinicians, crisis workers, emergency responders, or Auralis Systems staff.
Auralis Systems does not monitor your entries for emergency risk, suicide risk, self-harm risk, domestic violence risk, deterioration, medication risk, psychosis risk, escalation risk, or welfare concerns.
Submitting information into Anchor will not automatically trigger a safety check, clinician review, crisis response, ambulance, police response, welfare check, phone call, email, support contact notification, or emergency service response unless a specific future feature clearly states otherwise and you have enabled it.
5. AI-generated insights and automated outputs
Anchor may use artificial intelligence, automation, rules-based logic, pattern detection, or related technology to generate insights, summaries, prompts, reports, recommendations, reflections, or warnings.
AI Output may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, outdated, misleading, repetitive, unsuitable for your circumstances, or affected by the information you choose to enter into Anchor.
AI Output is not medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, counselling, crisis support, professional opinion, risk assessment, or clinical judgement.
Auralis Systems does not guarantee that AI Output will identify every symptom, risk, trigger, escalation, safety issue, medication issue, diagnosis, crisis indicator, relapse warning, behavioural pattern, relationship concern, or mental health concern.
You must use your own judgement and seek qualified professional advice before making health, medication, safety, treatment, relationship, work, financial, or legal decisions based on Anchor content.
6. Medication, treatment, and safety plans
Any medication, treatment, therapy, safety plan, relapse plan, crisis plan, psychiatric care plan, or clinical advice you receive must be managed with an appropriate qualified professional.
Medication entries inside Anchor are personal records only. They are not medication management, prescribing advice, dosage advice, pharmacy advice, clinical monitoring, or a substitute for instructions from your doctor, psychiatrist, pharmacist, or other qualified professional.
Do not start, stop, increase, decrease, skip, combine, or otherwise change any medication, supplement, treatment, therapy, or safety plan because of Anchor, an Anchor prompt, an Anchor report, or an AI-generated output.
If you have questions about medication side effects, interactions, missed doses, dosage changes, withdrawal effects, or treatment risks, speak to your doctor, psychiatrist, pharmacist, or appropriate health service.
7. Storm Mode and coping tools
Storm Mode, grounding tools, reality-check prompts, pattern-break tools, breathing prompts, emotional regulation prompts, and other coping tools inside Anchor are general self-support tools only.
These tools are not crisis intervention, clinical treatment, therapy, medical advice, psychological care, psychiatric care, or emergency support.
A tool that helps one person may not be appropriate for another person or for every situation. If a tool increases distress, panic, rumination, unsafe thoughts, paranoia, hallucinations, dissociation, compulsive checking, or any other concerning symptoms, stop using that tool and seek appropriate support.
8. Reports, exports, and sharing with professionals
Anchor may generate reports, summaries, exports, pattern summaries, doctor-style reports, or other documents based on information you enter into Anchor.
Reports generated by Anchor are not complete medical records, clinical assessments, diagnostic reports, professional opinions, treatment plans, risk assessments, or evidence that a particular condition, event, symptom, or risk exists.
Reports may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, AI-generated interpretation, user-entered inaccuracies, or incomplete context.
You are responsible for reviewing any report or export before relying on it or sharing it with a doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, counsellor, therapist, support person, employer, insurer, legal representative, government body, or any other person.
Health professionals and other third parties remain responsible for making their own independent assessment. Auralis Systems does not guarantee that any report will be accepted, relied upon, understood, or used by a health professional or third party.
9. Support contacts and external support services
Anchor may allow you to store support contacts, helpline details, emergency information, or links to external services.
You are responsible for ensuring any support contact details you enter are accurate and that you have any necessary consent to store or use those details.
Unless a feature clearly states otherwise, Anchor does not automatically contact support contacts, clinicians, emergency services, crisis services, helplines, or third parties on your behalf.
External helplines, emergency services, crisis services, websites, app stores, payment providers, AI providers, infrastructure providers, and other third-party services are not controlled by Auralis Systems. Their availability, response times, advice, privacy practices, and service quality are their own responsibility.
10. User responsibility
You are responsible for how you use Anchor, what information you enter, how you interpret Anchor content, whether you seek professional support, and what actions you take after using Anchor.
You must not ignore, delay, avoid, or replace professional medical, mental health, crisis, legal, financial, or emergency support because of Anchor.
If you are unsure whether you need professional support, you should contact an appropriate qualified professional, crisis service, emergency service, or local health service.
11. No guaranteed outcomes
Auralis Systems does not guarantee that Anchor will improve your mental health, reduce symptoms, prevent crisis, prevent relapse, identify every risk, reduce distress, improve relationships, improve decision-making, prevent harm, or produce any particular clinical, emotional, behavioural, personal, financial, work, or life outcome.
Anchor may be unavailable, delayed, inaccurate, incomplete, affected by technical errors, affected by third-party providers, or affected by information you choose not to enter.
Anchor notifications, reminders, alerts, safety prompts, and suggested actions are not safety guarantees, clinical monitoring, emergency alerts, medication instructions, appointment reminders, or crisis response systems.
12. When Anchor may not be appropriate
Anchor may not be appropriate for every person or every situation. Stop using Anchor and seek appropriate support if Anchor causes or worsens distress, panic, unsafe thoughts, paranoia, hallucinations, compulsive checking, rumination, dissociation, avoidance of care, conflict, or any other concerning effect.
If a health professional has advised you not to use mental health tracking tools, journalling tools, AI tools, symptom-monitoring tools, or self-reflection tools, you should follow that advice unless they tell you otherwise.
13. Age and vulnerable users
Anchor is intended for users who are at least 18 years old unless Auralis Systems expressly allows otherwise and any required parent or guardian consent has been obtained.
A parent, guardian, carer, support worker, clinician, or other person helping someone use Anchor remains responsible for ensuring that use of Anchor is appropriate, lawful, safe, and consistent with the person's needs, capacity, consent, and professional care arrangements.
14. International use
Anchor is operated from Australia and is primarily intended for users located in Australia.
If you access Anchor from outside Australia, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of Anchor complies with the laws and health-service requirements that apply to you.
Crisis numbers, emergency information, legal references, consumer rights references, and support information inside Anchor may be Australian-specific and may not apply outside Australia.
15. Relationship with Terms and Privacy Policy
This Medical Disclaimer forms part of Anchor's legal and safety information and should be read together with the Anchor Terms and Conditions of Use and Anchor Privacy Policy.
Your use of Anchor is also governed by the Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy, including provisions about user content, data handling, paid services, AI outputs, third-party providers, limitations of liability, and user responsibilities.
16. Changes to this Medical Disclaimer
Auralis Systems may update this Medical Disclaimer from time to time to reflect changes to Anchor, the Auralis ecosystem, legal requirements, safety requirements, health-related guidance, app features, AI systems, product risk, or business practices.
Auralis Systems may require you to review and accept updated legal documents before continuing to use Anchor.
