7. AI-assisted features and automated processing
Anchor may use artificial intelligence, automation, rules-based logic, pattern detection, or related technologies to generate insights, summaries, prompts, reports, recommendations, or reflections.
To provide AI-assisted features, User Content and related information may be processed by Auralis Systems systems and/or third-party AI, infrastructure, or app-building providers. This may include the information you enter into prompts, logs, check-ins, notes, reports, or related features.
AI Output may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unsuitable, or affected by the information you choose to enter. AI Output is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, counselling, crisis support, or professional opinion.
Auralis Systems does not intentionally sell identifiable User Content or health-related information to third-party AI providers. Auralis Systems does not intentionally use identifiable mental health entries for third-party advertising targeting.
You should not enter information into AI-assisted features unless you are comfortable with that information being processed through cloud-based systems and relevant service providers used to operate Anchor.
Auralis Systems may use de-identified or aggregated information to test, improve, troubleshoot, and evaluate AI-assisted features, provided that information is not reasonably identifiable.
8. Reports, exports, and sharing by you
Anchor may allow you to generate, view, download, copy, export, or share reports, logs, AI Output, summaries, or other information created from your User Content.
You are responsible for reviewing reports and exports before relying on them or sharing them with a doctor, clinician, support person, family member, employer, insurer, legal representative, government agency, or other third party.
Once you export, download, screenshot, copy, print, email, or otherwise share information outside Anchor, Auralis Systems may no longer control how that information is stored, used, disclosed, copied, forwarded, or protected.
Doctor-style reports generated by Anchor are not a complete medical record and should be checked by you before sharing.
9. Support contacts and third-party personal information
Anchor may allow you to store information about support contacts or other people. You are responsible for ensuring that any information you enter about another person is accurate and that you have a lawful basis and appropriate consent to store and use it.
Unless a feature clearly states otherwise, Anchor does not automatically contact support contacts, clinicians, emergency services, crisis services, or third parties on your behalf.
Auralis Systems is not responsible for inaccurate support contact information entered by you or for the actions, inaction, advice, availability, or response time of any support contact or external service.
10. When we disclose information
Auralis Systems may disclose personal information, sensitive information, or related information in the following circumstances:
- •to service providers that help operate Anchor, including hosting, backend, database, authentication, cloud infrastructure, app-building, analytics, AI, email, support, security, payment, app store, and technical service providers;

- •to regulators, courts, tribunals, law enforcement, government bodies, or other parties where required or permitted by law;
- •where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent or lessen a serious threat to life, health, or safety, or to investigate unlawful activity, where permitted by law;
- •in connection with a business transfer, restructure, merger, sale, acquisition, financing, or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards where required;
- •to another Auralis Systems product or service where you have enabled a connection, provided consent, or where the sharing is reasonably necessary to provide the feature you requested;
- •to any person or organisation you direct us to share information with; and
- •for any other purpose disclosed to you or to which you consent.
11. Third-party providers
Auralis Systems may use third-party providers to build, host, store, process, secure, analyse, deliver, improve, and maintain Anchor.
These providers may include, depending on the build stage and services used, Base44, Supabase, Stripe, Google Play, Apple App Store, AI model/API providers, analytics providers, email providers, hosting providers, cloud providers, security providers, customer support tools, and other operational providers used from time to time.
Third-party providers may process information on behalf of Auralis Systems or under their own terms and privacy policies. Their services may change over time.
Auralis Systems aims to use providers that are suitable for the sensitivity of the information being processed, but no digital system or third-party service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.
12. Overseas storage and processing
Some third-party providers used by Auralis Systems may store or process information outside Australia, including in countries such as the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other regions depending on the provider, hosting location, support location, or technical architecture used at the time.
By using Anchor, you acknowledge that your information may be stored, processed, transferred, or accessed from locations outside Australia where relevant service providers operate.
Where required by law, Auralis Systems will take reasonable steps to ensure overseas handling of personal information is consistent with applicable privacy obligations.
13. Data security
Auralis Systems takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, unauthorised modification, and unauthorised disclosure.
Security measures may include access controls, authentication, provider security controls, encryption in transit where available, database and infrastructure security features, monitoring, backups, least-privilege access, and operational security processes.
No method of electronic transmission, cloud storage, app hosting, database operation, authentication, payment processing, or AI processing is completely secure. You use Anchor with that understanding.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure, using a secure device, protecting your email account, installing updates, using available security features, and telling us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
14. Data retention
Auralis Systems may retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide Anchor, maintain your account, support app features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, process payments, meet tax/accounting requirements, and operate backups.
Some information may remain in backups, logs, archives, audit records, payment records, app store records, legal records, or security systems for a limited time after deletion from the active app environment.
Auralis Systems may retain de-identified or aggregated information that no longer reasonably identifies you for analytics, research, testing, reporting, product improvement, or system development.
If you stop using Anchor without deleting your account, your information may remain associated with your account until deleted in accordance with Anchor features, this Privacy Policy, or applicable law.
15. Access, correction, export, and deletion
You may request access to personal information Auralis Systems holds about you, correction of inaccurate personal information, export of certain information where available, or deletion of your account or data.
You can make privacy requests through available Anchor features or by contacting contact@anchor-mentalhealth.com.
Auralis Systems may need to verify your identity before actioning a request.
Auralis Systems may refuse, limit, delay, or charge for a request where permitted by law, including where access would affect another person's privacy, where information is legally privileged, where a request is unreasonable or technically impractical, or where retention is required for legal, security, payment, dispute, backup, or compliance reasons.
Deletion requests may not immediately remove information from backups, logs, payment records, app store records, legal records, or third-party systems where retention is technically necessary or legally required.
16. Withdrawing consent
Where Auralis Systems relies on consent to collect or process sensitive information, you may withdraw consent by stopping use of the relevant feature, deleting relevant entries, adjusting available settings, deleting your account where available, or contacting Auralis Systems.
If you withdraw consent, Auralis Systems may no longer be able to provide some or all Anchor features. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal or processing that is permitted or required by law.
17. Notifications, reminders, and communications
Anchor may send service-related communications, including account notices, legal notices, privacy notices, security alerts, app updates, support responses, subscription messages, and important feature information.
Anchor may also provide notifications, reminders, alerts, prompts, or suggested actions if enabled. These are optional support features and are not emergency alerts, medical advice, clinical monitoring, or safety guarantees.
You can usually control app notifications through Anchor settings or your device settings. Some service-related communications may still be sent where necessary for account, security, legal, payment, or operational reasons.
18. Marketing
Auralis Systems may send marketing, product updates, launch notices, surveys, or promotional messages where permitted by law and where you have consented or where otherwise allowed.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe method in the message or by contacting Auralis Systems. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop service-related, legal, privacy, security, account, or payment communications.
Auralis Systems does not intentionally use your mental health entries, medication entries, storm logs, or sensitive health-related information for third-party advertising targeting.
19. Cookies, analytics, and website tracking
The Anchor website may use cookies, local storage, analytics tools, pixels, logs, or similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand usage, improve performance, troubleshoot errors, protect security, and measure basic engagement.
You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect website functionality.
If Auralis Systems introduces advertising cookies, behavioural advertising, or materially different tracking practices, this Privacy Policy and any relevant consent notices should be updated before those practices are used.
20. Children and age limits
Anchor is intended for users who are at least 18 years old unless Auralis Systems expressly allows otherwise and, where required, parent or guardian consent has been obtained.
Auralis Systems does not knowingly invite children to submit sensitive health-related information without appropriate consent or lawful basis.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to Anchor without appropriate consent, contact contact@anchor-mentalhealth.com.
21. Crisis, safety, and monitoring limitation
Anchor is not a crisis service, emergency service, suicide prevention service, healthcare provider, therapy service, counselling service, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional care.
Auralis Systems does not monitor Anchor entries in real time for crisis, safety, self-harm, harm to others, medication risk, clinical deterioration, or emergency response.
If you are in immediate danger, feel unable to keep yourself or someone else safe, are experiencing a mental health crisis, or need urgent help, call 000 or contact an appropriate crisis support service. In Australia, Lifeline can be contacted on 13 11 14 and Suicide Call Back Service can be contacted on 1300 659 467.
22. Data breaches
A data breach may occur if personal information is lost, accessed without authorisation, disclosed without authorisation, or affected by a security incident.
If Auralis Systems becomes aware of a data breach, it will take reasonable steps to contain, assess, and respond to the incident.
Where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme or another applicable law requires notification, Auralis Systems will notify affected individuals and/or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required.
Auralis Systems may also notify users or take protective action where it considers doing so appropriate, even if formal notification is not legally required.
23. Anonymised, aggregated, and de-identified information
Auralis Systems may create or use aggregated, anonymised, or de-identified information for analytics, testing, app improvement, reporting, product development, system monitoring, quality assurance, security, and business planning.
Auralis Systems will not attempt to re-identify de-identified information except where permitted by law, required for security or compliance, or necessary to test whether de-identification is effective.
24. Business transfers and structural changes
If Auralis Systems is involved in a restructure, sale, merger, acquisition, financing, transfer of assets, company formation, or other business change, personal information may be transferred, disclosed, or reviewed as part of that process where reasonably necessary and permitted by law.
If ownership or control of Anchor changes, Auralis Systems will take reasonable steps to ensure personal information continues to be handled in accordance with applicable law and relevant privacy commitments.
25. International users
Anchor is operated from Australia and is primarily intended for users located in Australia.
If you access Anchor from outside Australia, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of Anchor is lawful in your location.
Privacy rights, crisis numbers, health information rules, consumer rights, and support information may differ outside Australia.
26. Complaints and privacy questions
If you have a question, concern, correction request, access request, deletion request, complaint, or privacy-related issue, contact Auralis Systems at contact@anchor-mentalhealth.com.
Please include enough information for Auralis Systems to understand and respond to your request. Auralis Systems may need to verify your identity before responding.
Auralis Systems will aim to respond within a reasonable time. Complex requests, technical limitations, legal issues, or third-party provider involvement may require more time.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Information about privacy complaints is available at https://www.oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.
27. Changes to this Privacy Policy
Auralis Systems may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Anchor, the Auralis ecosystem, legal requirements, technology, providers, app store requirements, privacy practices, security requirements, or business operations.
When this Privacy Policy is updated, Auralis Systems will take reasonable steps to make the updated version available through Anchor, the website, app notice, consent screen, email, or another reasonable method.
